How does the Zalgo Text Generator work?
Zalgo text (or glitch text) is a digital text effect that looks broken or "cursed". It works by stacking multiple Unicode combining characters above, below, and on top of standard letters.
These marks are normally used for accents (like in "café" or "naïve"), but when you add too many of them to a single letter, they "overflow" vertically, creating a creepy, chaotic look often associated with horror memes and creepypastas.
Where to use Glitch Text?
Our Zalgo Generator is popular for:
- Discord & Gaming: Create spooky nicknames or server channel names.
- Social Media: Stand out in comments on Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube.
- Art & Design: Add a cyber-grunge or horror aesthetic to your digital art.
Is it safe?
Yes, Zalgo text is just standard text data. However, if you turn the "Glitch Level" to maximum (Chaos mode), the sheer number of characters might cause slight lag on very old phones or some browsers. Use casually!
